Then they came for the gun owners, and I did not speak out— because I was not a gun owner.

Then they came for the Republicans, and I did not speak out—because I was a Democrat.

Then they came for the Christians and the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was a not a religious person.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
